FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need a subscription to buy?

No. The subscription is only for the Tradeizi Index (benchmarks and reports). Buying on the platform is free — you only pay for the olive oil and the sample shipping.

What if the sample doesn't match the lot description?

You report the discrepancy before bidding. Tradeizi reviews the lot and can suspend or reclassify it. If a contract does end up being closed on a wrong sample, Tradeizi mediates the resolution.

What volumes are available?

Standard lots between 5 and 50 tonnes, but lots of 1t (small producers) and up to 500t (large cooperatives) exist. You can filter by min and max volume.

How does payment work for my contracts?

SEPA transfer directly to the producer, with Tradeizi verifying receipt and issuing the commission invoice to the producer. The buyer pays nothing beyond the olive oil and the agreed transport.
