Cork pilot programme
We're opening 3 to 5 cork auctions between June and August 2026 with selected producers from Alentejo, Ribatejo and Coruche. Wave 1 exists to test the end-to-end process and gather direct feedback from people trading Iberian cork.
What Wave 1 is
- 3 to 5 pilot auctions (reproduction 1st & 2nd, secondary) between June and August 2026.
- No minimum volume promise per auction — each lot is defined by the producer.
- No commission on the first lot published per producer (0% pre-launch).
Pre-launch terms
- Identity revealed only at auction close — contract signed and deposit paid.
- Direct SEPA producer → buyer (Tradeizi never holds the product payment).
- Electronic contracts with qualified e-signature via Signaturit.
- VAT + address verification before auction participation.
How it works
- Intro call — 15 min to understand volumes, quality and timing.
- Letter of intent — documents intent, does not commit volume.
- Lot publication — producer sets reserve, caliber, stripping year, incoterms.
- Auction — 48h-7d window (configurable); anti-snipe enabled.
- Contract + SEPA — identity revealed, signature, deposit, delivery.
FAQ
How much does it cost?
During launch: no commission, the producer keeps 100%. After launch: 1.5% buyer-side. No listing fee, no auction fee.
Can I back out?
Yes. Before you publish a lot there's no commitment. After publication, cancellation is subject to auction rules (see terms).
Who sees my data?
Only the Tradeizi team (verification) until contract signature. Buyers see technical lot characteristics (caliber, stripping year, certification), not producer name or address.
What if I don't have cork to sell in 2026?
No problem. We'd like to talk to producers, associations and processors — for platform pricing, not only immediate sales.
