Why livestock on Tradeizi
The Iberian cattle market is fragmented, with opaque pricing and margins tilted toward intermediaries. A transparent B2B auction can give producers direct visibility of demand and slaughterhouses a predictable supply.
Livestock shares infrastructure with the other Tradeizi commodities: identity revealed only at auction close (protects producers from disintermediation), direct SEPA (no escrow), pre-trade verification (VAT + address + sanitary).

How it will work
- Producer verification: VAT, address, SNIRA livestock register.
- Lot published with class (breed, age, live weight, SNIRA tag) and optional reserve.
- Auction 48h–7d with anti-snipe.
- Electronic contract, identity revealed only at auction close, direct SEPA.
- Veterinary verification via DGAV + TRACES for intra-EU animal movement.
FAQ
When does it launch?
H2 2026 subject to DGAV/SNIRA review and securing a pilot slaughterhouse partner. No firm date — we don't promise September.
Can I list now?
No. Only interest pre-registration. Once the pilot opens we contact pre-registrants first.
How does sanitary certification work?
Lots will need to meet SIRCA (Portuguese traceability) and TRACES (intra-EU movements) when we launch. Details still being scoped.
What's the commission?
Model still being defined. Reference: cork is 1,5% buyer-side. Livestock may adjust based on sector margins — we'll decide with the 2–3 pilots.
